Sexually Explicit Library Books for Kids in Manitoba? You Can Join the Movement to Remove Them.

Since the presentation in Winkler, Manitoba on September 22nd, people have come forward to express their support for the delegation that spoke to the South Central Library Board requesting a removal of sexually explicit library books accessible to kids of all ages. The delegation is still awaiting a formal response from the Library Board, in spite of what you may have heard in the media.

Delegations are currently being organized in Winnipeg and outside of Winnipeg. Dignity of Risk Alliance is prepared to connect anyone interested in participating as (1) a spokesperson for the public in your division or (2) if you would have the time to participate as a public supporter in your division; this involves attending a Public Library Board Meeting which may be virtually held.
