To defend an individual’s bodily autonomy and dignity by protecting their right to make their own existential decisions regarding their health. Reject efficiency when it interferes with dignity. Expose authoritarian bullying, the colloquial gaslighting, coercive tactics, including incentives and privileges or extortion for what they are in public health policy. Lobby to uphold the tenet of informed consent in medicine. Limit the role of government and health care provider to that of collator of information, disseminator, and advisor. To educate the public on interpreting risk, and, ultimately, alleviating the suffering caused by uncertainty. In so doing we aim to ensure decision-making is informed.
